Compliance Procedures

Test results can be skewed by measurement operators who do not follow proper and/or fail to adequately secure the test environment.  For example:

  1. Adherence to measurement & device placement protocols
  2. Adequate measurement time allotted during periods of severe weather
  3. Sufficient stabilization time allotted after closed-building conditions are initiated
  4. Appropriate household temperature
  5. Employ non-interference procedures
  6. Chimney flues closed; whole house fans and vent fans switched to “off” position.
